Materials

Pressure unit converter

The basic unit of pressure in the SI system is Pascal (1 Pa) = 1 N/m² = 1 kg/(m·s²). Enter a value and select the input and output unit.

Result—

¹Pressure – scalar value of force acting perpendicularly on a surface relative to the size of that surface (p = F_n/S). ²Technical atmosphere – pressure exerted by a kilogram-force per cm²; common symbols: kG, kp, kgf. ³Unit of average atmospheric pressure at sea level = 760 mmHg under standard conditions (g = 9.80665 m/s², T = 273.15 K = 0°C). ⁴Hydrostatic pressure: P_h = ρ·g·h (e.g. 1 m water column). ⁵Hydrostatic pressure of mercury column under standard conditions. The converter is for informational purposes; we do not guarantee full compliance with standards.
